Green Trek Presentation
- One of our oldest and yet most underrated programs
- Green Trek was born in 2021 out of the boredom of pandemic isolation and became a whole lot more
- Every Saturday, weather permitted,
– We collect trash across 15+ trails throughout the Bay Area, with an emphasis on East Bay parks in recent years
– It encourages everyone to ditch their screens and engage in healthy exercise while conserve the environment at the same time
– Volunteers can accumulate service hours towards volunteer awards at a rapid rate
– The program is the perfect venue for teenagers and parents to communicate with each other, and has become the unofficial organizational forum mechanism. All but two FUN Youth programs were born out the discussions song the trails of Green Trek

Weekly on Saturday Mornings — 8:30 AM, Year‑Round
At a different Bay Area park every week
By filling in this form, all participants agree to hold the organizer and other participants harmless.
This is a trash‑picking hike, eligible for 5 volunteer hours.
We will sign volunteer hours on the spot for non‑members.
We will record hours only for FUN Youth members.
Bring your own gloves, pick up tools, and trash bag.
Wear proper shoes, and hats.
Bring a backpack, 
sunblock, and a 
water bottle.
If you are bringing your pet, please check the park policy first.
This form UPDATE EVERY WEDNESDAY to show trail information of the hike on the coming Saturday. All hikes starts at 8:30PM on Saturday mornings
